  The condo was clean, except for the insects inside the light fixtures. It was a little disconcerting to stay in a place with high expectations of cleanliness during and after my stay and then see insects in every light fixture. I realize that insects are apart every household regardless of location, but when I could be charged $50 for misplacing a remote or having a chair out of place I guess I expected more.

  The property was a great location and a good price for the season so we knew it would be an modest condo. Our problem was the fact that we called in for service to the wifi and for blankets. The pull out sleeper sofa didn't have so much as a sheet on it and there were no extra linens anywhere. We were told they would come fix both things and no one ever came so for two nights we had no wifi and we had to take the sheets off the bed to use on the sleeper. It was fairly frustrating. We also didn't agree with paying for a maid to come clean the condo after we left but having a list of things we had to do that she wouldn't. There is no trash shoot at our building (stated in the rules) so we had to drag the trash downstairs to the dumpster, it just seemed rude after we pay for a maid to clean the condo to have to do anything ourselves.

  I stayed in the Oak Shores resort for 3 weeks and it was a very pleasant vacation. My room was very nice, it had excellent Internet service and the pool was wonderfull. The beach is just a five minute walk away.
